Rio Carbon Review

CNet has a new review of the Rio Carbon. Like most reviews thus far it is very positive, even though it notes the static problem the Carbon has with some headphones. CNet gave it an 8.3/10:

The Carbon largely lives up to the hype. This minihard drive player has a great design, an excellent interface, and Energizer-like battery life.

Rio Carbon is possibly the best purchase i have made electronics-wise. it makes me hard.

I purchase two Rio Carbon for my two daughters in the past 6 months and both have failed. No damage or misuse was committed on either device. The both failed shortly after the 90 warranty expired. Rio Audio’s trouble shooting at the web site limited and proving to be no help so far.
